Spring is Coming to the Rockies
Wednesday, March 16, 2005Winter is still showing up here in Denver. In our part of town we got about eight inches of snow, but it already started melting. One of the nice things about Denver is that the snow doesn't stick around for very long. Two years ago we were gone for the big snow storm that dumped three feet of snow. By the time we got home five days later, two feet of the snow had already melted.
Before the snow came we had crocus and daffodils popping up in our front yard. These flowers will be fine once the snow melts. It just goes to show you how fickle the weather can be at times, though it only lasts for a short period.
